I saw that Michel Vacca replied to a post by Mario Paesano in 2009. He is a descendant of my great grandfather's sister - Lucia Di Marco. Her brother, Cesidio, died young in 1918 & his father, Gerardo died in Glasgow in 1924. The death was registered by a nephew, G. dDi Marco, so I presume Gerardo had a brother but I have no knowledge on him.

Really delighted to see information on Lucia's family but since her husband died in Picinisco, this means she may have returned to Italy too & died there.

Lucia Di Marco & Cesare Mancini married in Glasgow in 1904 & had 2 daughters, Florinda & Maria Carolina. The family then moved to Edinburgh.

Maria Carolina married Antonio Defelice & had a daughter, Lucia in 1939. I had no information on Florinda until I saw the older post by Mario. He must be her son.
The link - my gran would have been Lucia Di Marco's niece & cousin to Florinda & Maria Carolina. Her name was LeonildaDimarco Di Marco born in Glasgow in 1906.

I hope to be able to track down more DiMarcos & hopefully hear from living relations from Edinburgh too?
