Hi All,
I am doing some rescearch for a fellow capaldi in Scotland and need some help please.
His Grand father Fortunato Capaldi born ca 1858 married
DOMENICA LERERTE born ca 1878.
According to the Scottish birth records they married 6 Feb 1882 Cassino Caserta.
Does anyone have any information on either of these 2 families, Can anyone help me at all.

Unfortunately all the civil records of Cassino were lost in WW2 including parish records. Since you know when he was born you could searh the records on microfilm at your local Family History Centre. www.familysearch.org. Civil records before 1866 were conserved in the State Archives in Caserta and were saved.
