Hi Hope someone can help me
My great grandparents were married in Picinisco in 1908
I was told that they first met in Scotland then married in Italy.
They had children, Nancy, Gloria, Immaculata (my gm) and Guido.
Looking for information on this family.
I was told that my grandfather died in about 1937/38 in a Rome hospital and that my grandmother remarried. Last known name of her was Domenica Gismondi.
My grandfather was at one time the Mayor of Sora. |

Their Italian birth certificates may include information about their marriages, and deaths.
The marriage record would provide their parents names.
I live in Sora, when was he Mayor? _________________ Ann Tatangelo

Hi
Thanks for your reply. The only info that I received was an extract which I have translated as follows
Luigi Frezza
The age of 18 in Neath (GB)
and
Demarco Sunday
Aged 19 to Picinisco (FR)
Marriage Contract draws on 11.05.1908
A Picinisco (FR)
I was told that my great grandfather was a one time Mayor of Sora but not sure if that was Luigi Frezza (ggf) or my great grand mother's second husband who's family name was Gismondi |

An extract isn't good enough. You need a copy of the original.
FYI you don't translate first names. Domenica is her name. It is also the word for Sunday which is never written with a capital 'D' unless it starts a sentence. _________________ Ann Tatangelo
